December 28, 2024: Yucaipa, CA 92399 Yucaipa Thunderbirds (Yucaipa, CA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting University Prep Jaguars (Victorville, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Yucaipa moves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Desert Hot Springs (Desert Hot Springs, CA) to meet the Golden Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, January 2. The Golden Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-2. Desert Hot Springs lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Perris (Perris, CA)
The Jaguars now sport a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Academy for Academic Excellence for a Cross Valley test on Tuesday, January 7. University Prep will meet a Knights team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Riverside Prep (Oro Grande, CA). The Knights record now stands at 3-4.
