The Basic Wolves basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Spring Valley Grizzlies to 59 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wolves now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Liberty for a 4A Sunrise - Southeast contest on Tuesday, January 9. Basic will meet a Patriots team coming off a 77-39 non-league win over Bismarck (Bismarck, ND). The Patriots record now stands at 7-5.

The Grizzlies (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bonanza (Las Vegas, NV). The Bengals enter the 4A Sunset - Southwest contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Bonanza ran past Chadwick (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA), 69-59, in a non-league contest.
