Texas High School Basketball - Berkner can't hold off Abilene
December 29, 2021: Richardson, TX 75081 The Abilene Eagles basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Berkner Rams to 61 in the Eagles non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frenship for a 6A Region I District 2 contest on Tuesday, January 4. Abilene will battle a Tigers team coming off a 57-56 non-league loss to DeSoto (DeSoto, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 19-2.
The Rams (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Richardson (Richardson, TX). The Eagles come into the 6A Region I District 7 contest with a 17-1 record.
