Connecticut High School Basketball - Nonnewaug can't hold off Bethel
December 29, 2021: Bethel, CT 06801 The Bethel Wildcats basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Nonnewaug Workhorses to 38 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookfield for a Southwest contest on Tuesday, January 4. Bethel will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 60-51 league win over New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-1.
The Workhorses (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Litchfield (Litchfield, CT). The Cowboys enter the Berkshire contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Litchfield was nudged by Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT), 49-46, in a non-league contest.
