December 29, 2021: Amarillo, TX 79103 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Caprock Longhorns (Amarillo, TX) and the visiting Cooper Cougars (Abilene, TX), saw Caprock's basketball squad overcome Cooper by a tally of 79-71.
With the victory, Caprock improves its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Bushland (Bushland, TX) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 4. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Bushland lost 63-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Hereford (Hereford, TX)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Sweetwater Mustangs (Sweetwater, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 31. Cooper will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 13-8 record after their 59-47 non-league win over Gunter (Gunter, TX).
