Texas High School Basketball - Troup tops Laneville
December 29, 2021: Troup, TX 75789 Troup Tigers (Troup, TX) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Laneville Yellowjackets (Laneville, TX), 45-29 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Troup upgrades its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host Winona (Winona, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 29. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 1-6. Winona lost 66-25 in their recent league bout against Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX)
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Gary Bobcats (Gary, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 1. Laneville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 39-38 non-league loss to Corrigan-Camden (Corrigan, TX).
