In Wednesday's non-league outing, the McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV) basketball squad beat the host Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV), by a count of 47-36.

The Lancers (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Fernley (Fernley, NV). The Vaqueros go into the non-league outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Fernley defeated Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV), 74-27, in a non-league outing.

The Buckaroos now hold a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sparks for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 30. Lowry will clash with a Railroaders squad coming off a 56-40 non-league loss to Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Railroaders record now stands at 1-7.
