Illinois High School Basketball - New Trier overwhelms West Aurora
December 29, 2021: Winnetka, IL 60093 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL) and the visiting West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL), saw New Trier's basketball squad wallop West Aurora by a tally of 53-32.
With the victory, New Trier improves its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Trevians travel to Hinsdale South (Darien, IL) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 8. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 4-7.
Next up, the Blackhawks confront the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies (Oak Park, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 30. West Aurora will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 81-51 non-league win over Warren Township (Gurnee, IL).
