Louisiana High School Basketball - Peabody tops Rayne
December 29, 2021: Rayne, LA 70578 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA) and the host Rayne Wolves (Rayne, LA), saw Peabody's basketball squad knock off Rayne by a count of 69-54.
With the victory, Peabody upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Warhorses host Northside (Lafayette, LA) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 4. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Northside lost 73-54 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Martinville (St. Martinville, LA)
Next up, the Wolves play the Comeaux Spartans (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 3. Rayne will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 46-44 non-league loss to Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA).
