The Richmond Raiders basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Avery County Vikings to 40 in the Raiders non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Raiders now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clover for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 30. Richmond will battle a Blue Eagles team coming off a 43-25 non-league win over Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Blue Eagles record now stands at 6-4.

The Vikings (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Franklin was nudged by Clover (Clover, SC), 43-25, in a non-league contest.
