The High Point Central Bison basketball team (High Point, NC), was overwhelmed 67-26 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC)

The Patriots now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southern Lee for a 3A/4A Conference 24 battle on Tuesday, January 4. Pinecrest will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 39-29 non-league loss to South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-5.

The Bison (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC). The Cougars come into the 3A Conference 46 battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, Rockingham County trounced Reidsville (Reidsville, NC), 72-57, in a non-league battle.
