December 29, 2021: Jayton, TX 79528 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Jayton Jaybirds (Jayton, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting Irion County Hornets (Mertzon, TX), by a count of 43-27.
The Jaybirds (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Whiteface (Whiteface, TX). The Antelopes go into the non-league outing with a 2-9 record. In their last outing, Whiteface was topped by Edgewood (Edgewood, TX), 45-16, in a non-league outing.
