Texas High School Basketball - River Road holds off Lefors
December 29, 2021: Amarillo, TX 79108 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the River Road Wildcats (Amarillo, TX) and the visiting Lefors Pirates (Lefors, TX), saw River Road's basketball squad hold off Lefors by a tally of 41-38.
With the victory, River Road improves its record to 4-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Groom (Groom, TX) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 30. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Groom won 39-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Paducah (Paducah, TX)
Next up, the Pirates confront the Chillicothe Eagles (Chillicothe, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 30. Lefors will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record.
