Ohio High School Basketball - Marietta fells Philo
December 29, 2021: Marietta, OH 45750 Marietta Tigers (Marietta, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Philo Electrics (Duncan Falls, OH), 66-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Marietta upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Tigers host New Philadelphia (New Philadelphia, OH) to play the Quakers in a East Central Ohio bout on Monday, January 3. The Quakers go into the bout with a record of 9-1. New Philadelphia won 44-37 in their recent non-league bout against West Branch (Beloit, OH)
Next up, the Electrics play the Morgan Raiders (McConnelsville, OH) in a Muskingum Valley bout, on Wednesday, January 5. Philo will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 54-18 non-league loss to Waterford (Waterford, OH).
