In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC) basketball squad edged the host North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights (Raleigh, NC), by a margin of 50-47.

The Catamounts (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Mustangs go into the 4A Conference 29 outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Middle Creek held off Lee County (Sanford, NC), 65-38, in a non-league outing.

The Knights now own a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Charlotte Country Day School for a non-league outing on Friday, January 7.
