California High School Basketball - Dixon nips Pierce
December 29, 2021: Arbuckle, CA 95912 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Dixon Rams (Dixon, CA) and the host Pierce Bears (Arbuckle, CA), saw Dixon's basketball squad hold off Pierce by a count of 57-51.
With the victory, Dixon upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Rams host Vanden (Fairfield, CA) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 30. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Vanden won 72-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Sonoma Valley (Sonoma, CA)
Next up, the Bears play the Willows Honkers (Willows, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 4. Pierce will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Honkers come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 72-26 non-league loss to Sutter (Sutter, CA).
