The A&M Consolidated Tigers basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Grapevine Mustangs to 57 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to ILTexas Arlington for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. A&M Consolidated will meet a Eagles team coming off a 64-45 non-league win over Royse City (Royse City, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 13-7.

With the defeat, Grapevine moves to 12-7 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX) to meet the Falcons in a 5A Region I District 7 match on Tuesday, January 3. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 4-9. Lake Dallas won 57-53 in their recent league match against Richland (North Richland Hills, TX)
