The Nettleton Tigers basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the host Alcorn Central Bears to 52 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Potts Camp for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Nettleton will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 42-41 non-league win over Water Valley (Water Valley, MS). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-6.

The Bears (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Phil Campbell (Phil Campbell, AL). The Bobcats come into the non-league contest with a 10-5 record.
