Illinois High School Basketball - Tri-Valley fells Annawan
December 29, 2022: Downs, IL 61736 Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Annawan Braves (Annawan, IL), 44-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Tri-Valley upgrades its record to 5-9 on the season. The Vikings host Tremont (Tremont, IL) to clash with the Turks in a Heart of Illinois bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Turks go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Tremont lost 72-63 in their recent non-league bout against Calvary (Springfield, IL)
Next up, the Braves clash with the Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes (Abingdon, IL) in a Lincoln Trail bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Annawan will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a 0-12 record after their 41-29 non-league loss to Augusta Southeastern (Augusta, IL).
