Texas High School Basketball - Atascocita knocked off by Cypress Falls
December 29, 2022: Humble, TX 77346 The Cypress Falls Eagles basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Atascocita Eagles to 30 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cypress Woods for a 6A Region II District 16 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Cypress Falls will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 64-54 non-league win over Huntsville (Huntsville, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-9.
The Eagles (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Humble (Humble, TX). The Wildcats enter the 6A Region III District 21 contest with a 5-15 record. In their last contest, Humble was defeated by Klein Collins (Spring, TX), 96-62, in a non-league contest.
