Texas High School Basketball - Van Buren can't hold off Atascocita
December 29, 2022: Humble, TX 77346 The Atascocita Eagles basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Van Buren Pointers to 55 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cypress Falls for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Atascocita will battle a Eagles team coming off a 76-45 non-league win over Mitchell (Memphis, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 12-5.
The Pointers (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bentonville (Bentonville, AR). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Bentonville was nudged by Cypress Falls (Houston, TX), 45-36, in a non-league contest.
