Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Stuart W. Cramer Storm (Belmont, NC), 53-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bandys upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Trojans host Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC) to clash with the Wolves in a 2A Conference 45 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Lincolnton won 54-53 in their recent non-league bout against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC)

Next up, the Storm clash with the Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC) in a 3A Conference 50 bout, on Friday, January 6. Stuart W. Cramer will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 79-55 non-league loss to Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC).
