Illinois High School Basketball - St. Edward crushes Blue Island Eisenhower
December 29, 2022: Elgin, IL 60123 St. Edward Green Wave (Elgin, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals (Blue Island, IL), 60-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Edward upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Green Wave travel to Latin (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Romans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Romans go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Latin lost 62-57 in their recent non-league bout against Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL)
Next up, the Cardinals clash with the South Shore International Tars (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. Blue Island Eisenhower will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Tars go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 60-54 non-league win over Woodlawn (Chicago, IL).
