December 29, 2022: Tuskegee, AL 36083 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Lee Generals (Montgomery, AL) and the host Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles (Tuskegee, AL), saw Lee's basketball team get by Booker T. Washington by a score of 75-71.
The Generals now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prattville for a 7A Area 3 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Lee will battle a Lions team coming off a 78-49 non-league win over Selma (Selma, AL). The Lions record now stands at 7-9.
The Golden Eagles (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bullock County (Union Springs, AL). The Hornets come into the 4A Area 4 contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Bullock County edged Abbeville (Abbeville, AL), 58-54, in a non-league contest.
