Texas High School Basketball - Braswell fells Emerson
December 29, 2022: McKinney, TX 75070 Braswell Bengals (Little Elm, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Emerson Mavericks (McKinney, TX), 64-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Braswell upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Bengals host Guyer (Denton, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a 6A Region I District 5 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Guyer lost 75-67 in their recent non-league bout against Rouse (Leander, TX)
Next up, the Mavericks clash with the Heritage Coyotes (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 10 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Emerson will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Coyotes go into the bout with a 14-6 record after their 79-68 non-league loss to Forney (Forney, TX).
