December 29, 2022: Breese, IL 62230 The Breese Central Cougars basketball team (Breese, IL), was toppled 52-33 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Briarcrest Christian Saints (Eads, TN)
The Saints now possess a 16-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christian Brothers for a non-league battle on Friday, December 30. Briarcrest Christian will confront a Cadets team coming off a 72-41 non-league win over Mater Dei (Breese, IL). The Cadets record now stands at 9-4.
The Cougars (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Centralia (Centralia, IL). The Orphans come into the non-league battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Centralia beat Carmel (Mundelein, IL), 51-46, in a non-league outing.
