The Ridge Point Panthers basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Bryan Vikings to 64 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Bend Travis for a 6A Region III District 20 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Ridge Point will battle a Tigers team coming off a 71-67 non-league win over Klein Cain (Houston, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 15-5.

The Vikings (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Weiss (Pflugerville, TX). The Wolves enter the 6A Region II District 12 contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, Weiss was nudged by Clemens (Schertz, TX), 64-49, in a non-league contest.
