Georgia High School Basketball - Calvary Day can't hold off Vidalia

The Vidalia Indians basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Calvary Day Cavaliers to 36 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Indians now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brantley County for a AA Region 3 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Vidalia will battle a Herons team coming off a 43-31 non-league win over Lanier County (Lakeland, GA). The Herons record now stands at 8-4.

The Cavaliers (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Islands (Savannah, GA). The Sharks enter the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Islands was nudged by Savannah Country Day (Savannah, GA), 58-44, in a non-league contest.
