The Life Waxahachie Mustangs basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Canton Eagles to 33 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenville for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Life Waxahachie will battle a Lions team coming off a 64-58 non-league loss to Richland (North Richland Hills, TX). The Lions record now stands at 8-9.
