Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA) and the host Canyon View Jaguars (Waddell, AZ), saw Mayfair's basketball squad hold off Canyon View by a tally of 61-58.

With the victory, Mayfair improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Monsoons host Chaminade (West Hills, CA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 14-5. Chaminade won 54-44 in their recent non-league challenge against San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA)
