Cedar Ridge Raiders (Round Rock, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting St. Michael's Crusaders (Austin, TX), 45-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cedar Ridge upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Raiders travel to Round Rock Westwood (Austin, TX) to clash with the Warriors in a 6A Region IV District 25 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Round Rock Westwood lost 60-46 in their recent non-league bout against Pflugerville Connally (Austin, TX)

Next up, the Crusaders clash with the San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. St. Michael's will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Rattlers go into the bout with a 23-2 record after their 76-47 non-league win over Trinity Christian (Addison, TX).
