Ohio High School Basketball - Lake Ridge Academy overwhelmed by Central Christian
December 29, 2022: North Ridgeville, OH 44039 The Central Christian Comets basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the host Lake Ridge Academy Royals to 35 in the Comets non-league victory on Thursday.
The Comets now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mansfield Christian for a Mid-Buckeye contest on Friday, January 6. Central Christian will battle a Flames team coming off a 75-69 non-league win over Horizon Science Academy (Columbus, OH). The Flames record now stands at 8-1.
The Royals (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Independence (Independence, OH). The Blue Devils come into the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Independence was routed by Cuyahoga Heights (Cleveland, OH), 56-38, in a league contest.
