December 29, 2022: Mountain City, TN 37683 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Central Davidson Spartans basketball team scored a decisive 87-57 triumph over the Johnson County Longhorns.
In their next game, the Spartans meet the Hickory Christian Academy Knights (Hickory, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 30. Central Davidson will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 5-6 record after their 70-54 non-league win over Forbush (East Bend, NC).
With the defeat, Johnson County moves to 4-5 on the year. The Longhorns travel to Elizabethton (Elizabethton, TN) to meet the Fighting Cyclones in a non-league match on Saturday, January 7. The Fighting Cyclones enter the match with a record of 3-4.
