December 29, 2022: Mendenhall, MS 39114 In Thursday's non-league match, the host Simpson Academy Cougars basketball team scored a decisive 84-53 triumph over the Clarkrange Buffaloes.
In their next game, the Cougars meet the Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders (Pearl, MS) in a MAIS 5A District 2 match, on Tuesday, January 3. Simpson Academy will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record. The Crusaders enter the match with a 9-8 record after their 66-60 non-league loss to Riverfield Academy (Rayville, LA).
