The Clarkson/Leigh Patriots basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Shelby-Rising City Huskies to 18 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Patriots now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aquinas for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Clarkson/Leigh will battle a Monarchs team coming off a 50-33 non-league win over David City (David City, NE). The Monarchs record now stands at 4-3.
