The Columbus Falcons basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Hernando Tigers to 52 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Falcons now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hartfield Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Columbus will battle a Hawks team coming off a 57-39 non-league win over Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS). The Hawks record now stands at 16-0.
