Pantego Christian Panthers (Arlington, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Covenant Christian Cougars (Conroe, TX), 66-65 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pantego Christian upgrades its record to 11-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Geneva (Boerne, TX) to play the in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The come into the bout with a record of 10-8. Geneva won 60-43 in their recent non-league bout against Concordia (Round Rock, TX)

Next up, the Cougars play the Regents Knights (Austin, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. Covenant Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 15-8 record after their 54-50 non-league loss to Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX).
