High School Basketball - Cypress Creek thwarts Tournament Team
December 29, 2022: , The Cypress Creek Cougars (Houston, TX) basketball knocked off the host Tournament Team (, ), 68-54 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cougars (14-5) will now prepare for their test against MacArthur (Houston, TX). The Generals go into the non-league test with a 8-12 record. In their last test, MacArthur went down by Jordan (Fulshear, TX), 81-52, in a non-league test.
The now own a 4-16 record. They play next when they travel to Rialto for a non-league test on Friday, December 30. Tournament Team will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 58-53 non-league loss to Chaparral (Temecula, CA). The Knights record now stands at 12-6.
