December 29, 2022: Jamestown, TN 38556 In Thursday's non-league outing, the York Institute Dragons (Jamestown, TN) basketball squad nipped the visiting Demopolis Tigers (Demopolis, AL), by a margin of 66-60.
The Dragons (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Cumberland County (Crossville, TN). The Jets go into the non-league outing with a 3-12 record. In their last outing, Cumberland County got by Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA), 47-44, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Selma for a 5A Area 5 outing on Tuesday, January 3. Demopolis will clash with a Saints squad coming off a 78-49 non-league loss to Prattville (Prattville, AL). The Saints record now stands at 6-2.
