December 29, 2022: Henrietta, TX 76365 The Denver City Mustangs (Denver City, TX) basketball knocked off the host Henrietta Bearcats (Henrietta, TX), 65-49 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (11-8) will now prepare for their test against Stanton (Stanton, TX). The Buffaloes go into the non-league test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Stanton notched a victory over Kermit (Kermit, TX), 36-35, in a league test.
The Bearcats now own a 0-15 record. They play next when they travel to Vernon for a 3A Region I District 7 test on Tuesday, January 3. Henrietta will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 54-40 non-league win over Windthorst (Windthorst, TX). The Lions record now stands at 12-6.
