Texas High School Basketball - Wylie thwarts Early
December 29, 2022: Early, TX 76802 The Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX) basketball knocked off the host Early Longhorns (Early, TX), 56-36 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (6-12) will now prepare for their test against Gatesville (Gatesville, TX). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 19-1 record. In their last test, Gatesville notched a victory over Wall (Wall, TX), 63-49, in a non-league test.
The Longhorns now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Peaster for a 3A Region I District 8 test on Tuesday, January 3. Early will encounter a Greyhounds squad coming off a 56-55 non-league loss to Brock (Brock, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 14-5.
