Wisconsin High School Basketball - West Salem crushes Elk Mound
December 29, 2022: West Salem, WI 54669 West Salem Panthers (West Salem, WI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Elk Mound Mounders (Elk Mound, WI), 69-41 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, West Salem upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host Westby (Westby, WI) to play the Norsemen in a Coulee bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Norsemen come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Westby lost 64-60 in their recent non-league bout against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, WI)
Next up, the Mounders play the Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau Red Hawks (Galesville, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Elk Mound will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Red Hawks come into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 61-54 non-league win over Baldwin-Woodville (Baldwin, WI).
