December 29, 2022: Yelm, WA 98597 The Yelm Tornados basketball team (Yelm, WA), dropped 66-53 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Evergreen Plainsmen (Vancouver, WA)
The Plainsmen now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prairie for a 3A Greater St. Helens battle on Tuesday, January 3. Evergreen will battle a Falcons team coming off a 67-59 non-league win over Steilacoom (Steilacoom, WA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-6.
The Tornados (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against North Thurston (Lacey, WA). The Rams come into the 3A South Sound battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, North Thurston prevailed over Mount Tahoma (Tacoma, WA), 70-48, in a non-league battle.
