The Fairfax Lions basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Glen Allen Jaguars to 45 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Freeman for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Fairfax will meet a Mavericks team coming off a 58-50 league win over Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA). The Mavericks record now stands at 4-6.

The Jaguars (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Mavericks enter the Colonial contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Freeman was outscored by Fairfax (Fairfax, VA), 59-45, in a non-league contest.
