The Overton Eagles basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Franklin Flyers to 64 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sandhills/Thedford for a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. Overton will play a Knights squad coming off a 37-23 non-league win over Ravenna (Ravenna, NE). The Knights record now stands at 4-3.
