Michigan High School Basketball - Groves nips Walled Lake Central
December 29, 2022: Beverly Hills, MI 48025 Groves Falcons (Beverly Hills, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI), 55-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Groves upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Falcons travel to Seaholm (Birmingham, MI) to play the Maples in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Maples go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Seaholm lost 68-53 in their recent league bout against Berkley (Berkley, MI)
Next up, the Vikings play the Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI) in a Lakes Valley bout, on Friday, January 6. Walled Lake Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Mavericks go into the bout with a 7-0 record after their 57-40 non-league win over DeWitt (DeWitt, MI).
