New Jersey High School Basketball - Hackensack holds off Newark Tech
December 29, 2022: Hackensack, NJ 07601 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Hackensack Comets (Hackensack, NJ) and the visiting Newark Tech Terries (Newark, NJ), saw Hackensack's basketball team get by Newark Tech by a score of 59-57.
The Comets now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary for a non-league battle on Sunday, January 1. Hackensack will battle a Gaels team coming off a 64-40 non-league win over Hoboken (Hoboken, NJ). The Gaels record now stands at 5-0.
The Terries (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Barringer (Newark, NJ). The Blue Bears come into the non-league battle with a 3-4 record.
