December 29, 2022: Harker Heights, TX 76548 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Westlake Chaparrals (Austin, TX) basketball squad edged the host Harker Heights Knights (Harker Heights, TX), by a count of 51-47.
The Chaparrals (21-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bowie (Austin, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Region IV District 26 outing with a 13-5 record. In their last outing, Bowie held off Akins (Austin, TX), 34-24, in a non-league outing.
The Knights now hold a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Temple for a 6A Region II District 12 outing on Friday, January 6.
