Alabama High School Basketball - West Point holds off Hatton
December 29, 2022: Cullman, AL 35057 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Point Warriors (Cullman, AL) and the visiting Hatton Hornets (Town Creek, AL), saw West Point's basketball squad hold off Hatton by a tally of 55-48.
With the victory, West Point improves its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Russellville (Russellville, AL) to confront the Golden Tigers in a 5A Area 15 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Golden Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 4-5.
Next up, the Hornets confront the Tharptown Wildcats (Russellville, AL) in a 2A Area 16 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Hatton will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 73-56 league loss to Hatton (Town Creek, AL).
