Wisconsin High School Basketball - Homestead nudges Milwaukee Academy of Science
December 29, 2022: Mequon, WI 53092 Homestead Highlanders (Mequon, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Milwaukee Academy of Science (Milwaukee, WI), 68-67 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Homestead upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Highlanders host West Bend West (West Bend, WI) to clash with the Spartans in a North Shore bout on Friday, January 6. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 1-7. West Bend West lost 44-36 in their recent non-league bout against Kewaskum (Kewaskum, WI)
Next up, the clash with the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees (Zion, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. Milwaukee Academy of Science will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Zee-Bees go into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 73-37 non-league loss to Whitney Young (Chicago, IL).
